Amsten Equipments

We’re located at Plot No. K-1-710 in the GIDC Industrial Estate. It’s a standard industrial plot, nothing too special to look at from the outside. Inside, we keep all the equipment we work on. It can get a bit cramped when we have several large pieces in for maintenance at once. We spend a lot of time moving things around to make space. The guys here wear grease-stained overalls most of the time because that’s the nature of the work. You can’t really deal with this kind of machinery and stay clean for long. We’ve got a small office tucked in the corner where the phone sits, but mostly we are out on the floor. The neighborhood is full of similar businesses, so there is always a lot of traffic and noise. We like it that way; it feels like things are happening. Sometimes the power goes out or the water is slow, but that’s just life in the estate. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy stuff for us. We just know our way around the tools and the machines we handle. When a customer brings something in, we take a look, figure out the problem, and get to work. It’s straightforward. We keep a few spare parts on the shelves, though they never seem to be the exact ones we need right away. It's a lot of trial and error and hands-on fixing until the job is done. The metal roof makes it loud when it rains, but we keep working.
