Ambuja Galvanizers

Down at Plot No. 303/7 in the GIDC Estate, that is where you will find Ambuja Galvanizers. It is a hot place to work, especially when the tanks are running all day. We spend most of our time dealing with metal and making sure the coating goes on right. It is not the kind of job where you stay clean, so we are usually covered in some kind of dust or grease by noon. The estate is always loud with other factories nearby, but we have our own rhythm going. We have been here for a good stretch of time now. The yard is usually full of pipes and frames waiting for their turn. It’s mostly just hard work and watching the clocks to make sure the timing is correct for each batch. We don't have any fancy reception area or anything like that. If you come by, you'll probably just see us in the back working. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing a pump or a heating element, but that is just part of the life here. It’s a practical business. We focus on the metal and making sure it doesn't rust out too fast for the people who need it. It’s basic work, but it’s what we do every day since we opened up.
