If you head down towards the Air Force Station, you’ll find us at Plot No 986/31. Being right opposite the station means we hear the planes pretty often, which you get used to after a week or two. Aldiam Motors Pvt. Ltd. is basically just a group of us working on engines and parts. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and getting oil under your fingernails. The shop isn’t the cleanest place in the world, but we know where every tool is kept. Most mornings start with a bit of a rush as we look at the schedule for the day. We have a small office area, but it’s mostly filled with spare parts and old paperwork. People stop by because they know we’ve been in this location for a good while. The traffic outside can get pretty bad around five, so we usually try to wrap things up before the road gets blocked. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll see people in suits. We wear overalls that have seen better days. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing department. If the work is good, people come back, and that’s been enough for us so far. It’s just a standard motor shop with a bit of grit and a lot of history in this neighborhood. We keep at it, day in and day out, without making much of a fuss.
