We've been at No. 378/ D in the Makarpura GIDC area for quite some time now. Most folks around here know the spot. It’s an industrial area, so it gets busy and dusty, but that’s just how it is. Umiya Industries isn't a fancy place with a big lobby or anything like that. We mostly just focus on getting the work done. There are a few of us here every day, usually starting early. The machines make a lot of noise, and sometimes we have to shout to hear each other. We handle various industrial jobs as they come in. It isn't always pretty, and sometimes the floor is a mess of metal scraps or oil, but we keep moving. Being in the GIDC means we have neighbors doing all sorts of things, and we help each other out when someone needs a tool or a hand. We don't really have a big office staff, so if you call, you're probably talking to someone who just put down a wrench. That’s just the way we operate. There's no script or anything. We just take the orders, see what needs doing, and get to it. Sometimes things take a bit longer if a machine acts up, but we stay late to finish. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know. We've seen the area change over the years, more trucks now than there used to be. Still, we’re right here at the same door.
