K B S Filter

We are based in GIDC Makarpura, which is the heart of the industrial side of things around here. Our spot is A/2/103/5, tucked away among many other similar looking units. K B S Filter is basically a place where we put filters together and package them up. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but someone has to do it. The air in the workshop usually has a bit of a dusty smell because of the materials we use. We have a small team of local workers who show up every morning and get straight to the machines. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s steady. The GIDC area can be confusing if you don't have the plot numbers, but we've been here long enough that the postman knows us well. The floors are concrete and usually have some scraps of mesh or paper on them by the end of the shift. We don't have a big sign outside, just the name painted near the door. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, so we usually take a longer break when the sun is at its highest. We aren't a big corporation, just a small business trying to keep up with the demand from the bigger factories nearby. Most of our day is spent making sure the sizes are right and the edges are clean. We don't have any fancy machines, just the basic ones that have been running for years. Sometimes they break down and we have to fix them ourselves, which takes up half the morning. It’s just the way things go around here. The tea stall around the corner is our favorite spot for a quick break.
