Injecto Poly Plast

Our place is Plot 250/3 in the Makarpura GIDC area. If you’ve ever been to Makarpura, you know it is just one big industrial zone after another. We have some machines here that make plastic parts. The noise is constant, a kind of rhythmic thumping that you eventually stop hearing. Injecto Poly Plast has been in this unit for a while. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just making the items people ask for. The floor usually has some plastic shavings on it no matter how much we sweep. We have a small crew and everyone knows what they are supposed to do. The office is just a corner partitioned off with some plywood. It’s got a window that looks out into the factory floor so we can see what’s going on. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we all have to stop and figure out how to fix it, which can be frustrating. The parking outside is a bit tight because the road is narrow and everyone leaves their vehicles everywhere. We usually have a lunch break together and talk about the cricket scores or the weather. It's not a glamorous job, but it's steady. We just try to get the orders done and keep the machines running without too much trouble. It is just a regular factory life for us.
