A. S. Fabricators Vadodara is based at Plot No. 655 in the GIDC Makarpura area. If you’ve ever walked around GIDC, you know it’s mostly noise and the smell of cut metal. That is exactly what our daily life looks like. We have the machines running from morning until late evening most days. There is always some welding going on or someone cutting steel plates to size. The floor is usually covered in some dust and metal scraps, but that’s just a fabrication shop for you. We don't have a big marketing department or a fancy office. Most of our work comes from other businesses in Vadodara who need something specific made. We take the drawings and just start working on the machines. It is hot work, especially in the summers here, but we are used to it by now. The team knows the machines inside out. We don’t spend much time on the computer unless we are looking at a design or checking an order. Usually, someone is shouting over the noise of the grinder to get a point across. It’s a very hands-on environment at Plot No. 655. We just handle the metal, do the welding, and send the finished parts out on a truck. There isn’t much more to it than that. It is just steady work, day in and day out, making sure things are built solid enough to last for the people who buy them.
