We are located on the second floor of a building in the G.I.D.C area on R V Desai Road. It’s an industrial sort of place, so there’s always the sound of machinery or trucks moving around nearby. To find us, you just look for Up To Date Tailor across the street. They are a good landmark because everyone knows where the tailor is. Coming up to the second floor is a bit of a climb since the stairs are quite narrow. We don't have an elevator, so it keeps us moving. The space itself is basic. It has a high ceiling and some old metal cupboards where we keep all our files. There isn't much of a view, just the rooftops of other industrial sheds. Mahendra has been here for a long time, and the place hasn't changed much over the decades. The floor is concrete and we have a few heavy desks that have seen better days. It gets quite warm in the summer because of the roof, so we keep the windows open. The breeze from the road helps a little, though it brings in some noise. We don't really have a reception area or anything like that. If someone comes in, they just walk straight to the desk. It’s a straightforward way of working without any unnecessary extras or polish. We handle our tasks one by one and try to finish before the evening rush starts on R V Desai Road.
