Mahendra Enterprise

Our business, Mahendra Enterprise, is located at No. 57 in Mahavir Nagar. We are tucked away right behind the Jalaram Temple on Gayatri Nagar Road. Because of the temple, there’s always a lot of people walking by, especially in the mornings and evenings when the prayers are happening. You can often hear the bells ringing while we are trying to count our inventory. The shop isn't much to look at from the outside, just a plain front with a heavy shutter. Inside, we keep everything from small hardware to larger items piled up on the shelves. It’s a tight squeeze, and you have to watch your head if you are tall. We’ve been on Gayatri Nagar Road for quite some time now, so we’ve seen shops come and go. We just try to keep things simple and honest. Most of our day is spent talking to the locals and helping them find what they need for their homes. There is a small desk in the back where we do the accounts, usually with a cup of tea getting cold because we got distracted by a customer. The walls have some marks on them from moving heavy stuff around, and the floor is a bit uneven. We don’t have a big marketing plan or fancy logos. We just open up, do our work, and talk to the neighbors. It’s a decent way to spend the day.
