Maa Ambika Pooja Shop

Maa Ambika Pooja Shop is right on the ground floor of the Siddharth Complex in Alkapuri. We are at units 36 and 37. When you walk in, you’ll immediately smell the incense we have burning. The shelves are packed with everything you’d need for a ceremony—brass lamps, powders, oils, and small statues. It’s a bit cramped because we try to fit as much as we can in the space. We’ve been here for a while and many of the regular customers are like friends now. They come in not just to buy things but to chat for a few minutes. We don't have a computerized system or anything; we just know where everything is. If you’re looking for a specific type of wick or a certain incense brand, we can usually find it in a minute. The lighting is a bit dim towards the back of the shop, but it makes it feel peaceful. We open early in the morning because that’s when people usually want their pooja supplies. It’s a simple business. We don't do anything fancy with the displays; we just put the items out where people can see them. Sometimes we run out of space on the shelves and have to stack things on the floor. It’s a local shop for local people, and we like it that way. No big corporate vibes here, just us and our wares for the rituals.
