We are based in Ahmedabad, India. This city has always been a place for industry and chemicals, so we feel like we belong here. Our workplace is not anything fancy to look at from the street. It is a practical building where we focus on the manufacturing side of things. The sun here in Gujarat can be incredibly strong, so we usually have the ceiling fans running at top speed from morning until night. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for many years now. We do not spend money on big advertisements or glossy brochures. We just worry about the batches we are mixing and getting the orders shipped out to our customers on time. The office area is usually a bit messy with product samples and old logbooks stacked up on the tables. We spend a lot of hours checking numbers and making sure every container is sealed up properly before it leaves. It is a lot of the same thing every day, but it is what we know how to do. Some days are long, especially when a big truck is waiting for a shipment. We usually sit together and eat lunch at a big wooden table in the back room. It is a simple life for us here. We do not make a big deal out of the work. We just show up and keep the line moving. Often someone brings in local snacks for the whole team to share.
