Our shop, Mahavir Electric And Engineering Company, is located at number 297 on Laherypura New Road. We are quite close to the Sai Baba Mandir, so we hear the bells and the crowds every day. It’s a busy part of town, and there’s always something going on right outside our door. Inside, it’s mostly a mix of electrical parts and engineering tools scattered across the benches. We’ve been at this spot for quite a while now. It’s a family-run kind of vibe, where we just handle whatever repairs or sales come our way. The space is a bit cramped because we try to keep everything in stock, from tiny screws to larger motors. It gets pretty dusty with all the traffic on the new road, so we spend a lot of time cleaning surfaces. We aren't a big corporation with fancy titles; we just fix things and sell parts. Usually, customers come in with a broken piece of machinery hoping we can find a replacement. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk, while other days we don't even have time for a proper meal. The light in the back of the shop isn't great, so we do most of the delicate work near the front window. It’s a steady life, and being near the temple brings a lot of foot traffic past the windows. We like it here because it feels like we are in the middle of everything.
