Krishna Plywood

Our place is located at Akota Nana Peth 1 and it usually smells like fresh cut wood as soon as you step inside the door. We have stacks of plywood sheets reaching almost to the ceiling in some parts of the warehouse. It is a lot of heavy lifting so we stay pretty active and strong throughout the day. Akota is a busy area and there is always some noise from the street coming in through the open bay doors. We try to keep the different grades of wood separated into neat piles so it is easier for people to choose what they need for their specific projects. Sometimes the fine sawdust gets on everything, including our clothes, but that is just part of working with plywood every day. There is a small metal desk in the corner where we keep the ledger and handle the payments. We don't really have a waiting area for guests, just the open space between the stacks. Most of the people who come by are builders or folks doing their own home repairs. We know many of them by name since they have been coming here for many years. It's a rough and ready kind of environment and we like it. We don't bother with fancy displays or lights. The wood speaks for itself and we just make sure it gets loaded onto the trucks properly without any damage. It is a decent way to spend the day, even if our backs are a bit sore by the time we close up.
