Kodak Photo Shop

If you head down Gotri Road toward the Harinagar Water Tank, you will find us in the Bijal Apartment building within Haridham Society. That is where Kodak Photo Shop is set up. It is a neighborhood spot where people come to get their photos printed or their passport pictures taken. We have been here in this part of the society for a good bit of time. The shop isn't very large, but we have got the printers and the backdrops all ready to go. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded when a whole family comes in at once for portraits, but we manage to fit everyone in. We have a lot of regular customers from the apartments nearby who just drop by to see if their prints are ready. It is a simple setup with a counter and a few samples on the wall of work we have done before. We do not do anything too fancy, just honest photo work. The machines make a lot of heat, so we keep the fan going most of the day. It is nice being near the water tank because everyone knows exactly where that is. We spend our days cropping images and making sure the colors look right on the paper. It is steady work and we like being part of the daily routine for people in the Haridham area. We just keep the door open and wait for the next person to come in with their memories.
