Khurana Constructions

If you look behind Dhobi Talav in the Warashia area of Baroda, you’ll find us over at Indralok Township. Our office is at A-8. It’s a busy little corner of Gujarat to be in. Khurana Constructions is basically just a group of us who know our way around a site. We spend a lot of time talking to vendors and checking on how the bricks and mortar are holding up. The office is usually dusty because of all the blueprints and site visits, but that’s construction for you. It’s not a polished place with leather chairs. We have some plastic stools and a lot of old files. We’ve been in Baroda for a long time, so we know the local streets and how things work around here. The heat in the afternoon can be something else, so we try to get the heavy work done early. We don’t have a big fancy website or a lot of people in suits. We just wear what’s comfortable and get on with the building work. Sometimes we’re running behind because the trucks didn't show up on time, but we just deal with it. It’s a lot of phone calls and scribbling notes on the back of envelopes. We just try to keep the projects moving along so we can get home to our families in the evening. That’s the reality of it for us at A-8 Indralok. We just build things and keep it moving.
