Baroda Label Manufactures Company is tucked away in Mini Plaza, right on the first floor in FF-3. We are directly opposite the Mental Hospital in Karelibaug, which is the easiest way to tell people how to find us. The plaza is one of those older buildings where everyone knows everyone else. Our space is filled with the smell of ink and the sound of the machines running in the back. We make all sorts of labels, and there’s always a pile of paper off-cuts somewhere on the floor. It’s a small operation, really. Just a few of us making sure the colors look right and the sticky back is actually sticky. We’ve got samples pinned to the walls from jobs we did years ago. Sometimes people wander in thinking we’re a different shop because the signage in the plaza is a bit confusing. We don't mind. We just point them the right way and get back to the printers. Karelibaug is a busy part of town, so there is always someone coming by with a last-minute request. We try to keep up, but sometimes the machines have a mind of their own. It’s not a high-tech lab; it’s a workshop where we get our hands a bit dirty. We just focus on getting the labels printed and out the door to the businesses that need them. It's not a flashy lifestyle, but it keeps us busy enough throughout the week.
