We are Karan Grover & Associates Architects. Our office is in Kirti Tower on Tilak Road. It’s not the biggest office you’ll ever see, but it’s ours. There are a few of us who work here together. My name is Karan, and I started this place a while back. We spend our time working on designs and talking to builders. Tilak Road is always buzzing with activity, so there is never a dull moment. Inside the office, things are usually a bit chaotic. We have rolls of blueprints and sketches scattered all over the place. We don't have a professional cleaning crew coming in every night, so it looks like a real workspace. We aren't interested in having a fancy, polished image. We just care about the drawings and making sure the buildings are solid. People come to us because they know we’ll give them a straight answer. We don't use a lot of big words or marketing talk. We just show them what we’ve done and tell them what we can do. Sometimes we stay late into the night to finish a project, and other times we leave early if the weather is nice. It’s a flexible way to work. We like being on Tilak Road because everything we need is close by. It’s a good, honest way to make a living and we enjoy what we do. We share the drafting tables and keep the coffee pot going all day.
