The office is over on Palace Road at Kunj Plaza and it’s a duplex setup which gives us a bit more room than we had before. We are close to Dange Chowk and the Tathwade Road intersection so there is always a lot of traffic and people moving around outside. Being near the Polo Club is nice because it’s a landmark everyone knows when they are trying to find C/2. Kapil is usually the one here making sure the papers are in order and the phone calls are answered. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs sometimes but the view of the road is okay. We don’t have fancy carpets or anything like that, just some sturdy desks and a couple of shelves that are getting a bit too full of folders. The light comes in well in the mornings and then we close the curtains when the sun gets too bright later on. Sometimes the noise from the chowk gets a bit loud but you stop noticing it after a while. It’s a decent place to spend the day and we have everything we need to keep things moving along. Friends from the neighboring offices often pop in for a quick chat which keeps the day from being too boring. We don’t put on any acts here, we just work and try to stay organized in the middle of all the Palace Road chaos.
