Kamlesh M Patel

I’m Kamlesh M Patel, and I’m based at B 20 here in Vadodara. It’s a simple address for a simple business. I’ve lived in Vadodara most of my life, so I know the city well. My workspace at B 20 is small and practical. I don’t have any employees, so I do everything myself. That means I’m the one answering the phone, sweeping the floor, and dealing with the customers. It’s a lot of work sometimes, but I like knowing exactly what’s going on. The room has a window that looks out onto a small side street. It’s usually quiet, which is nice for concentrating. I don’t have a big sign outside, just a small nameplate. Most people come to me because they know me or someone told them about me. I don’t see the need for big advertisements. I keep my books in order and try to stay on top of things as they come. Sometimes I get a bit behind when several things happen at once, but I eventually catch up. I usually take a break in the afternoon for some tea and a snack. It’s a humble sort of life, and I’m happy with it. The building is solid, though the paint is peeling a bit near the bottom. It doesn’t affect the work, so I don’t worry about it much. I’ve got some old plants on the windowsill that I forget to water sometimes.
