Kajaria Ceramics

Our place is at A 1 in Maninagar Society, located in the Manjalpur area of Baroda. It is a nice spot in Gujarat, and the neighborhood is usually quite friendly. We spend our days surrounded by ceramic tiles. The shop is tucked into the society, so we get a lot of locals who are just fixing up their own houses. It’s not like those big showrooms in the city center. We keep things more personal here. We spend a lot of time cleaning the dust off the samples because the air around here can get a bit dry. People come in and ask about what holds up best in the heat or what looks good in a small bathroom. We give them straight answers. There is no point in making things sound more complicated than they are. We have a lot of different patterns, and sometimes it takes a while for a family to agree on one. We just sit back and let them decide. The routine is the same every day: open the shutters, check the stock, and talk to whoever walks in. Sometimes we have to order things from the main warehouse if we run out of a specific batch. Manjalpur is a growing area, so we see new faces all the time. It is a good way to spend the day, working with something practical that people actually need for their homes.
