Our Jaipur office for Jmc Projects (I) Ltd. is situated in the Murlipura Scheme. Specifically, we’re at 146, Rameshwardham, which is right near Kedia Palace. It’s a pretty well-known landmark, so people don’t usually have much trouble finding us. The building is a typical Jaipur structure, and it stays surprisingly cool even when the Rajasthan sun is beating down outside. Inside, you’ll find a few of us hunched over desks covered in blueprints and site reports. We aren't really the type to dress up in fancy suits; it’s more about being ready to head out to a site at a moment's notice. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, which helps when we need to focus on the technical details of the projects we are handling. We have our favorite tea stall just down the road where we usually end up talking about the day's challenges. The work here involves a lot of back-and-forth with contractors and making sure the supplies are getting where they need to go on time. Sometimes things get delayed, and we have to spend the whole afternoon on the phone sorting it out. It’s not always exciting, but it’s the reality of the construction business. We have grown accustomed to the rhythm of this part of the city and the people who live around here. It’s a decent place to work, and we just focus on getting the daily list of tasks finished before we head home for the evening.
