Jindal Rail Infrastructure Limited

We are situated in Darapura at number 8. Jindal Rail Infrastructure Limited is what we go by. This place is all about tracks and wagons. It’s a big space because rail parts are huge. You can hear the sound of metal hitting metal all day long. It’s not a quiet place to work, that’s for sure. Most of us wear earplugs when we’re near the assembly area. The ground is gravel and dirt. We have a lot of heavy cranes moving parts around. It takes a lot of people to keep things organized. We aren't really a public-facing shop; it’s more about the technical side of the railway. The office at Darapura 8 is where we keep the logs and the schedules. It gets pretty hectic when a big order needs to go out. We’ve got a lot of history with rail work. Some of the older guys have been doing this since they were teenagers. They show the younger ones how to handle the heavy steel. We don’t have a lunchroom with a view, just a few benches under a tin roof. It’s a practical environment. We don't worry about being polished. We just want to make sure the rail components are solid and ready for use. It’s hard work and the hours can be long during the summer months. But we’ve got a good group here in Darapura. We take the work seriously even if the office is a mess.
