Setting up the office here at Shreeji Apartment was mostly about being in a spot that felt like home but also allowed for people to stop by. We are right behind Shantivan School on Ajwa Road which means it gets pretty loud when the kids are going home in the afternoon. It is a small space on the first floor, number 105, and most of the day is just spent sitting at the desk or dealing with whatever comes through the door. Indra Nagar is a decent area and J N Road stays busy enough that there is always something happening outside the window. We started out just doing small bits of work and eventually, it became the regular routine. There are some files stacked up in the corner and the fan usually makes a bit of a clicking noise when it’s on high, but you get used to it after a few hours. People sometimes get lost looking for the building because the street layout is a bit confusing if you aren’t from around here, but once they see the school they usually find us. It’s just Jigar here most of the time trying to stay on top of the schedule. We don’t have any big corporate signs or anything like that, just a name on the door and a few chairs for guests. It feels more like a workshop than a business office but it gets the job done.
