Jhagadia Copper Ltd

We are located in the GIDC area of Ankleshwar, at Plot No. 508/1/12. It’s right opposite Center Point and near the Gurukul Hostel. There are always people moving around outside, mostly students or workers from other plots. Jhagadia Copper Ltd is essentially a large shed and some office rooms in the middle of all the industrial noise. It is never quiet. You have the sound of big trucks and the clanking of metal all day long. Our plot is always busy. We have stacks of copper that need to be sorted and loaded. The office is small and usually smells like machine oil and tea. We don’t have any fancy decorations, just some old chairs and files piled up on the floor. It gets very hot in Ankleshwar, and the tin roof overhead doesn’t help much in the summer. We just get on with the job, though. The crew has been together for a long time, so we know the routine well. We know where to get the best food nearby when we take a break. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We keep the equipment running and try to keep the dust under control. It’s just a regular industrial business, nothing more and nothing less. We show up every day and do our part for the yard.
