Our setup is located in the Export Zone at E-71 in GIDC Savli. Being out here in Manjusar means we are a bit away from the main city, so it’s a lot quieter except for the sound of the industrial units nearby. Paper is what we handle all day long. We have big rolls and stacks of sheets piled up everywhere in the warehouse. It’s a lot of manual work, checking the quality of the paper and getting it ready for the export requirements. The air is always filled with that specific paper smell, which stays on your clothes even after you leave. We work in a pretty straightforward way—orders come in, we process the paper, and we load it onto the trucks heading out of the zone. The office inside the unit is small and mostly filled with ledgers and sample books. It gets quite hot in this part of Gujarat, so we try to get the heavy loading done early in the morning before the sun gets too high. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby; you just walk in through the main gate and find us near the loading bay. It’s a practical environment where we focus on the task at hand and try to stay organized despite all the stacks of paper surrounding us. We usually spend the last hour of the day just cleaning up the scraps and checking the gates to make sure everything is locked tight.
