Jagaji Construction Company

This branch of our construction company is located at 114 Kalakunj Society, near the water tank in Karelibaug, Vadodara. It’s a residential area, so it’s a bit quieter than being right in the city center. We use a part of the house as our office. It’s easy to find because everyone knows the big water tank. We do a lot of building and repair work around Gujarat. Most of the time, the floor is covered in dust from the boots we wear. We have a small team of guys who have been with us for years. We aren't a big corporation. We just take on jobs we know we can handle. The office has a couple of old desks and a computer that is a bit slow. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating with suppliers for cement and steel. Sometimes customers come by to look at photos of our previous work. We don't have a glossy brochure to show them. We just show them what we did for their neighbors. It’s a simple way of working. We try to be direct about costs and how long things will take. Construction is always messy and takes longer than you think, but we try to keep things moving along. Being in Karelibaug is nice because it’s a friendly neighborhood. We usually keep some extra bricks and sand bags in the yard just in case. My son helps with the social media stuff sometimes, but mostly we just use the phone.
