J. T. Mine. Chemicals

You can find J. T. Mine. Chemicals on the fourth floor of Shriram Chamber, right there on R.C. Dutt Road. We are directly across from the Circuit House in Alkapuri. It is a busy part of Vadodara, and our office is usually a hive of activity with phone calls and people coming in to talk about chemical supplies. We have been operating out of this room for quite a few years. It is not a huge space, just enough for our desks, a few filing cabinets that are overstuffed with old records, and a table where we can sit down and talk. Dealing with minerals and chemicals involves a lot of paperwork and making sure the logistics are handled properly. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and transport guys trying to figure out where a shipment is. It is mostly just us working through the daily list of things to do. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, so we end up taking the stairs, which is good for the legs I suppose. We do not really do much in the way of advertising; most people find us because they have worked with us before or heard about us from someone else in the trade. It is a steady business. We like being in Alkapuri because everything is close by, and it is easy for people to drop in. We just keep our heads down, handle the orders, and try to make sure everything gets where it needs to go.
