So we are located at unit 6 in the Bombay Shopping Centre. Alkapuri is a busy place, and being near Green Park and Mithanagar means there’s always something happening. The shopping centre itself has been around for quite a while. It’s got that classic look you see in older parts of the city. We’re mostly surrounded by other shops, so there’s a lot of back and forth between owners. Most days start with opening up the shutters and seeing what needs to be moved around. We have a lot of stock, so things can get a bit cramped in the back room. You have to know exactly where you put things or you’ll be searching for ages. I’ve got a small chair by the entrance where I sit when things quiet down for a minute. It’s not the most modern office in the world, but it works for what we need. The light coming in from the front is actually pretty good in the mornings. We get a lot of people asking for directions because Alkapuri can be a bit of a maze if you aren't used to it. I don't mind though, it's good to talk to people. It’s just a regular shop where we focus on the work at hand. We don't have any big flashy displays, just the usual stuff you’d expect. Every day is a bit different but we stay busy enough with the people coming through the centre.
