You’ll find us at 2, Ranjan Society, which is tucked away in the Chikuwadi area of Baroda. Jetalpur Road is just a short distance away, and it’s always busy with traffic and people going about their business. However, once you enter the society, it becomes much quieter. We have a lot of trees around the building, which provides some much-needed shade during the hot Gujarat summers. Our office is not very big, and it’s often filled with piles of documents and folders. We have been operating from this location for quite some time now. Most of us have been with Ismt Limited for years, so we know the routine inside and out. We don’t have a cafeteria, so we usually bring our lunch from home and eat together at our desks. There is a small shop nearby where we can get some snacks or a cold drink if the afternoon gets too long. We don’t spend money on fancy signage or expensive office renovations. We prefer to keep things simple and practical. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood throughout the day, like the vegetable sellers calling out or children playing nearby. It makes the workday feel a bit more human and less like a cold corporate environment. We just show up every morning, do what is required of us, and make sure everything is in order before we lock up the gate for the night.
