Imperial Coating Industries

Imperial Coating Industries is located out in the Shanker Patel Estate, specifically at plot C-6 in Manjusar. We are a bit outside the main city of Vadodara, in the Taluka Salvi area. It’s an industrial patch where a lot of people are doing hard work. We specialize in different types of coatings that protect metal and other surfaces. It’s a chemical process, so the smell can be a bit strong inside the plant. We have some big vats and mixing equipment that we run throughout the day. The guys on the floor wear overalls and spend most of their time monitoring the batches. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear a nice suit. We started with just one small line and slowly added a couple more as we got more work. The roads out here in Manjusar can be a bit bumpy, but the trucks manage to get in and out okay. We don't have a big front office or anything. If you come by, you’ll probably find the manager out on the floor with everyone else. We just focus on getting the mix right so the coating stays on like it’s supposed to. It’s dirty, practical work, and we’ve been doing it this way for a long time now. We just try to keep the machines running and the orders filled correctly. There is a lot of cleanup involved every single evening.
