Ilaben C Parekh

Ilaben C Parekh is based out of A 34 in the Pushpak Township, which is on Babulnath Road here in Vadodara. It’s a residential area, so it stays fairly quiet compared to the main city markets. The office is part of the township, making it a comfortable place to work from every day. We handle a lot of administrative tasks and paperwork that keep us busy from nine to five. The view outside the window is just the common area of the township and some trees. It’s a nice change from the dusty industrial zones. We don’t have a lot of foot traffic, mostly people who have an appointment or business to discuss. The desk is usually covered in folders and pens, and there’s always a notebook open for taking messages. We make our own tea in the small kitchen area instead of going out for it. It feels more like a home office than a corporate building, which suits the way we like to work. Mixed sentence lengths are common in our notes and letters because we just write how we talk. We’ve been in this township for a while and know most of the people living in the other blocks. It’s a steady pace of work without too much stress. We just focus on getting the daily files updated and responding to whatever needs attention that morning. It’s a quiet life but we get a lot done.
