Honest Die Makers

You can find us at the Chandan Complex in Makarpura, right across from Himalaya Machinery. The name Honest Die Makers was picked because that’s how we wanted to work from the start. We make dies for various industries, and it’s a lot of precision work that keeps our eyes tired by the end of the shift. Makarpura is a hub for this kind of stuff, so there’s always a lot of competition around, but we just stick to our own bench. The shop is often dusty from the grinding, and the floor is never really clean for long. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room with magazines. If you come by, you’ll likely find us with dirty hands, working on a mold or a tool. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought because the metal is being stubborn, but we don't give up on it. We’ve been in this spot for years and the neighbors know us well. It’s a small space, 490/490/16, so things get packed tight when we have big projects going on. We don't put on any airs or try to act like a big corporation. We are just local guys who know how to shape metal and make tools that work for our customers. That’s the long and short of it. We keep our heads down and let the finished work speak for us instead of talking a lot.
