Hollywood Home Furniture

You can find us at number 39 in the Bhagyalaxmi Society, which is part of the New Vip Nagar area near Sardar Estate. We are located right behind Sardar Estate and not too far from the G. N. Patel School. The workshop is always full of the smell of cut wood and sawdust. We have different pieces of furniture in various stages of being finished scattered around the room. Sometimes there is a sofa frame waiting for fabric, or a table that needs another coat of polish. It is a bit crowded because we try to fit a lot into the space we have. The Ajwa Road traffic is close by, but inside the society, it is a bit quieter except for the sound of our saws and hammers. Most people find us by word of mouth because we are tucked away in the back. We have been working with wood for a long time and our hands show it. It is honest work and we like seeing a pile of timber turn into something useful like a bed or a cupboard. The school kids walk past the shop in the afternoon and the noise of their shouting mixes with our work. We don't have a big window display or fancy lights. It is just a place where we make furniture for the homes around here. We just keep our heads down and keep building. It takes a lot of time to get things just right, so we are always busy.
