Hitesh H Modi

The office for Hitesh H Modi is situated in Alkapuri, right on the Andheri Ghatkopar Link Road. We are in units 309 and 310. Being on the Link Road means there is a lot of movement outside all the time. It is a very central spot, so we see a lot of the city’s energy from our windows. The space inside is split across the two units. We have things set up in a way that makes sense for our daily chores. It’s not a polished showroom. It’s more of a practical workspace where we have our computers and all the paperwork we need. There’s a lot of traffic noise that filters in, but we’ve learned to ignore it over the years. We’ve been here long enough that the local shopkeepers recognize us. The building has its quirks, like the occasional plumbing issue or a slow lift, but it’s where we do our work. We don't spend money on fancy decorations. Most of what’s here is just what we need to get through the day’s tasks. People who visit usually just sit in one of the spare chairs while we talk things through. It’s a busy life on the Link Road and we are just a small part of it. We keep things pretty low-key and just focus on getting the work done without much drama. There is usually a stack of newspapers on the side table that we read during breaks.
