Our office for Hi-Tech Speciality Fabrics (Exports) Private Limited is tucked away on the ground floor of Trimurti Apartment. If you know where Alka Restaurant is on R. C. Dutt Road in Alkapuri, we are right behind it. It’s a pretty central location, which makes it easy for us to get around. The space is G/F-4, and it’s a modest setup. We deal with specialty fabrics for export. It’s a lot of checking samples and making sure the quality is what it should be. The office is often full of fabric swatches and folders of paperwork. Being in Alkapuri is nice because everything is close by, but the parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We don’t have a big fancy showroom. We just have our workspace where we manage the exports. Most of the time, it's just the sound of keyboards and the occasional phone call to a supplier. We’ve been doing this for a while now and have a rhythm. We don't use a lot of buzzwords. We just talk about the fabric and the deadlines. It's a small team here. We all know what we have to do. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment is going out, but that’s the nature of the business. We focus on the task at hand and try to keep things simple. It’s just a normal office routine for us. We just stay busy with the fabrics.
