Harissons Gallery

Harissons Gallery is tucked away at number 18, right below the ICICI Bank in the Alkapuri area. Being downstairs means it stays a bit cooler than the street level, which is nice during the summer months. Alkapuri is a pretty active part of town, so there are always people moving around upstairs. We've been in this basement space for a good while now. It’s not the biggest shop, but we’ve filled it up with all sorts of things. We don't go in for fancy decorations or bright lights. We just keep the place tidy enough to work in. Most of the people who come in are locals who have lived here for years. They know exactly where we are, even if the sign is a bit small. We don’t do much in the way of big announcements or sales pitches. That’s just not our style. We prefer to just be here and do what we do. Sometimes the bank gets a lot of traffic and it gets noisy above us, but we don't mind much. It’s a part of being in this neighborhood. If you're looking for us, just find the bank and head down the stairs. It’s a simple setup. We spend our time managing the stock and helping whoever walks through the door. It’s a steady pace of life and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of Alkapuri over the years. We keep the lights on until about seven.
