We’ve been based out of J D Patel Estate for a good number of years now. Specifically, you can find us at Ranoli Kanakamandir on the 5th Main Road. The name on the gate says Hariom Freight Carriers Pvt Ltd, but most people just know us as the guys who handle the heavy loads around here. It’s a busy part of the estate, with trucks coming and going at all hours. We have a small office tucked away where we manage the logs and keep track of where everything is supposed to be. Logistics is a messy business sometimes, especially when the weather is bad or the roads are blocked, but we just deal with it as it comes. There’s always someone around the yard checking the tires or looking over the paperwork. We don't have a shiny lobby or anything. It's mostly just desks, phones, and a lot of clipboards. The drivers come in to get their routes, and we make sure the manifests are signed. It is practical work. We’ve grown a bit over time, but the way we do things hasn’t changed much. We stay focused on moving items from one point to another without losing anything along the way. It’s a lot of coordination and late-night phone calls. If you walk onto the 5th Main Road, you’ll see our spot easily enough. We’re usually there early in the morning before the sun really gets hot.
