H C Soni & Company is located on the second floor over in Raopura, specifically in the Pritamnagar area. We are right opposite the Tower, which is a good landmark because people sometimes miss the entrance to our building. Being on the second floor means we get a bit of a breeze if the windows are open, which is nice during the summer months. It’s an old building, so the walls have some character, and the floorboards might creak a little when you walk around. We’ve been operating from this spot for years, and it’s filled with old ledgers and files from all the work we’ve done over the decades. The neighborhood is usually bustling with people going to the markets or the tower, so there’s always something to look at out the window during a break. We don’t really go in for any of that modern office styling. We have our old desks and chairs, and everything has its place, even if it looks a bit messy to a stranger. People come up the stairs to talk to us about their business or whatever they need help with. It’s a quiet enough place once you get inside and away from the street noise. We usually have a pot of tea going, and someone is always on the phone or writing something down. It’s just how we have always done things here in Raopura, keeping it simple and steady while we manage the daily tasks that come our way.
