Living and working in Fertilizernagar is a bit different than being in the middle of a big city. Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd has been the main thing out here for as long as I can remember. It’s a huge site, and my office is just one small part of the whole operation. There’s always the sound of machinery in the background and trucks coming and going at all hours. We handle a lot of the day-to-day stuff here. It’s not just about the big chemical plants; it’s about making sure the local farmers get what they need for their crops. We spend a lot of time in boots and hard hats, even if we’re just doing office work or checking files. The air feels different here compared to the city. We have a lot of people who have worked here for thirty years or more. It’s more like a community than just a regular workplace. We don’t really do fancy brochures or big ads. People know us because we’ve been here forever. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desks and we get a bit behind, but we eventually catch up. It’s a lot of responsibility keeping a place this big running smoothly without any hiccups. We just take it one day at a time and do our part. The canteen has decent food, which is a plus when you’re working long shifts. It’s a practical, hardworking environment where everyone knows their role. We just keep our heads down and get the work finished.
