You can find us over by the French Bridge in Vadodara, right across from Vallabh Park. It’s a busy spot and there is always noise from the traffic going by. We have been operating Gujarat Industrial Defence Services from here for a while now. The building is okay, nothing special, but it has enough room for all the stuff we have to keep on hand. We deal with a lot of industrial things, mostly focused on keeping workplaces running without too many accidents. It’s a lot of physical work, moving gear around and checking inventories. Sometimes the heat in the warehouse gets to be a bit much, especially in the summer months when the sun hits the roof. We spend our mornings going through lists and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s not a very exciting business to talk about at dinner, but it keeps us busy. Being near Vallabh Park is nice because you can see some green trees if you look out the window at the right angle. We know most of the other shop owners around the bridge. We just show up, do the work, and deal with whatever problems come up that day. Sometimes a shipment is late or a client has a weird request, and we just have to figure it out as we go. It’s just a regular local business trying to keep things moving.
