Gujarat Freight Carriers

We are located at B 2 in the Shree Krusnalila Market. It is right near the Golden Chowkdi, just before you get to the Tol Road Naka. If you see the Sangam Hotel in Asoj, we are directly opposite that. Gujarat Freight Carriers has been operating from this spot for a good while now. Most of what we do involves sitting in the office and making sure the trucks are where they are supposed to be. It’s not the most exciting work, but it keeps us busy from morning until evening. The area stays pretty active because of the highway and the toll gate. We see a lot of drivers coming through. Sometimes the traffic gets backed up right outside our door, but that is part of life here. We handle a lot of paperwork and phone calls throughout the day. It’s just a few of us working together. We don't have a big corporate setup or anything like that. Just some desks and a lot of logbooks. People usually find us because they need something moved and they know we are in the market. We don't do any big advertising. We just try to get the freight moving and handle the schedules. It is a practical business. We’ve gotten to know the regular drivers and the other shop owners around the chowkdi. We just focus on the daily tasks and making sure the loads are ready to go when they should be.
