Gujarat Chemicals & Fertilizer Trading Co

Our office for Gujarat Chemicals & Fertilizer Trading Co is at B P C Road 23. It’s more of a functional space than a fancy one, with old filing cabinets and stacks of paperwork everywhere. We deal with a lot of different bags of fertilizers and jugs of chemicals that come in and go out to farms or smaller dealers. The smell of the products is quite strong, so we usually have the windows open as much as possible. B P C Road is a busy area for transport, so there are always big trucks idling outside our door at number 23. We spend a lot of time checking invoices and making sure the inventory matches what we have in the storage area out back. It gets quite dusty, and we go through a lot of pens writing out delivery notes. The floor is concrete and has some stains from spills over the years that won't come out. We have a small kettle in the corner for making tea, which is how we start most of our mornings before the phone starts ringing. It's not a glamorous business, and our clothes usually end up smelling like the warehouse by the end of the shift. We know the regular drivers well and often share a quick talk while they wait for their loads. It is steady work that keeps us on our feet all day long.
