We are located at 66, Ajit Nagar Society. It’s near Urmi Society on Dinesh Mill Road. This part of Akota in Baroda is quite busy. We’ve been here for Gtl Infrastructure Ltd. for a long time. The office is inside a residential society, so it’s got a bit of a homey feel. It’s not like those tall glass towers you see in the city center. We like it this way. It’s quieter. There are trees outside our window. Sometimes we see birds or a stray cat. The office itself is pretty basic. We have some desks, a few chairs, and a lot of files. The filing system is mostly just piles that we understand. It might look messy to someone else. But we know where everything is. We don't have a big sign outside. People usually find us by asking the neighbors. We spend our days coordinating with field staff. It’s a lot of talking on the phone and writing things down. We don't use a lot of fancy words. We just say what needs to be said. When it’s someone’s birthday, we usually get some sweets from the shop down the road. It’s a nice little tradition. Baroda is a good city. It’s not as crazy as Mumbai or Ahmedabad. We like the pace here. It’s steady and predictable. That’s how we like to work too. Our water filter makes a funny sound, but it keeps the water cold all day.
