Goyal Koya Stone

If you go down Khadilkar Road in Girgaon, near the wadapavwala, you will find us. We deal with all sorts of stone here. It is heavy work, and there is always a lot of dust in the air from cutting or moving the slabs. Our spot in Karelibaug is not huge, but it fits what we need. We spend the mornings unloading shipments and the afternoons helping people pick out what they need for their floors or walls. It is mostly just us moving heavy things from one pile to another. Sometimes a piece breaks, and that is just a loss we have to deal with. The equipment we use is old but it still gets the job done. You can usually hear the saws running from down the street. It is a messy business, and our clothes are always covered in stone grit by the time we go home. We do not have a fancy showroom. It is just the slabs leaning against the walls and a small desk where we keep the receipts. People around here know where we are because of the landmark nearby. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out. Some stones are harder to work with than others, but we manage. It is a lot of physical labor, but it keeps us busy. We do not mind the dirt because the work is honest and it keeps us moving.
