Gowtham Emporium

Our shop is located in T.R. Nagar on the 1st cross in the 4th block area. It’s a very familiar spot for the people who live in this part of town and have been here for years. The building number is 85/13 if you are looking for it. It’s not a massive store by any means, but we try to cram as much as we possibly can onto the wooden shelves. Sometimes things get a bit dusty if they’ve been sitting in the corner for a week, so we try our best to keep up with the cleaning every morning. It’s a local business, so we know a lot of the customers by their first names and they often stop in just to see what’s new or to chat for a bit about the weather. The street outside is usually busy with people walking to the nearby market or waiting for the bus. We open the shutters early and stay open until the sun goes down and the streetlights come on. There’s no fancy lighting or cold air conditioning here, just a couple of old ceiling fans that hum and wobble all day long. We keep most of the extra inventory in the small back room, which is always a bit of a puzzle to walk through without tripping. My brother and I run the place mostly on our own. We don’t have a website or any online presence. People around here just know where we are.
