Sona Ply Hardware

You can find us on Gotri Road, right near the G.E.B. Sub Station. We are at Dhanwil Point, G-1. It’s across from the Kalpvrux Complex. It’s a busy road and people are always stopping by on their way home. We deal in ply and hardware, so the shop always smells a bit like wood and metal. It’s a nice smell if you ask me. We’ve got stacks of plywood leaning against the walls and drawers full of screws and hinges. It’s not the most organized looking place, but it works. People come here because we know our stuff. If you need a specific type of bolt or a certain thickness of board, we can usually find it in the back. We don't use any high-tech systems. Just a notebook and some pens to keep track of sales. It’s been that way for a long time. My uncle started this, and now I help run it. We see a lot of local carpenters and guys doing their own home repairs. We don't try to sell people stuff they don't need. Just give them what they asked for and maybe a bit of advice if they look confused about a project. The shop gets a bit dark in the evenings, but the location is easy for people to find. We just keep our heads down and do the work. There is always something to move or organize around here.
