Goel Scientific Glass Works Pvt Ltd has its place at C 31/A in Sardar Estate on Ajwa Road. We make things out of glass, mostly for labs and scientific use. It’s a hot job because of the furnaces. You spend all day around glass tubes and beakers. We have been in the Sardar Estate area for a long time. It’s an industrial spot, so there are always trucks moving and people working nearby. Our workshop is filled with glass of all shapes and sizes. You have to be careful where you step. We spend a lot of time blowing glass or shaping it into what is needed. It’s a skill you pick up over years. Some of the guys here have been doing it since they were young. Ajwa Road gets pretty crowded during the rush hour, but inside the factory, we just focus on the heat and the glass. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s a practical workspace where we get our hands dirty, or rather, where we deal with the heat. Packing is the hardest part because everything is so fragile. We use a lot of bubble wrap and straw to make sure nothing breaks when it leaves the estate. It’s just how it is. Every day is about melting, shaping, and cooling. That’s what we do here in our corner of the estate.
