Our office is in Baroda, specifically in the Manjalpur area. We are located at 18, Shivkrupa Society, which is tucked right behind the Bank of India. It is a quiet residential society, so it makes for a peaceful place to handle the business for Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd. We have turned a regular house into our workspace, which gives it a bit of a homey atmosphere. We spend most of our time here managing the Gujarat side of the manufacturing and distribution. It is a small team, and we all know each other well. There are stacks of files in the corners and the desks are always a bit messy with notes and schedules. We do not have any polished marketing materials or corporate slogans on the walls. We just focus on the numbers and making sure the trucks are going where they need to go. The tea stalls at the corner of the society are our usual hangout during breaks. It is a steady, practical way of working. Sometimes the roads get a bit flooded during the heavy rains, but we still manage to get in and get the work done. We are just local folks who understand the market here and work hard to keep everything moving.
