GLOBAL INSTRUMENTS

Our office is up on the third floor of the Sunrise Complex. It’s right across from SSG Hospital in Salatwada Naka, so there is always a lot of activity outside. We’ve been here at Global Instruments for quite a while now. Most days, it's just a few of us surrounded by various measuring tools and technical equipment. The lift in this building is a bit temperamental, so we end up taking the stairs more often than we’d like. It’s a good workout, I suppose. The office itself isn't much to look at, just a lot of shelves and some old desks that have seen better days. We spend a lot of our time checking orders and making sure the instruments are packed correctly. Sometimes the noise from the hospital traffic gets a bit loud, but you get used to the sirens and the honking after a few weeks. We usually have a stack of paperwork on the main table that never seems to get smaller. We take our tea breaks by the window and watch the people coming and going from the hospital. It’s a busy neighborhood, and being on the third floor gives us a decent view of the chaos below. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. People just walk in, and we help them with whatever technical gear they are looking for. It’s a straightforward way to spend the day, just handling the instruments and keeping the records straight.
