Working out of GIDC Estate near Karmatur Chokdi is mostly about dealing with the noise and the trucks. At Shreeji Corro Care Industries, our spot at L-7837/4 is right in the middle of all that activity. It's a practical space. We spend most of the day looking at metal parts and figuring out how to stop them from rusting away. The air usually smells like chemicals and heavy work. It’s not the cleanest place to work, but it’s an industrial estate, so nobody expects it to be. We have a few machines running and some guys who have been with us for years. They know exactly how to handle the tanks and the coating process. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. Dealing with corrosion is just messy business, really. We get parts from all over the area, some big and some small. There is always a layer of dust on the office table no matter how much we wipe it. We don't have a marketing team or someone to write fancy letters. We just talk to the people who bring their stuff here. Most of our day is spent checking the quality of the finish and making sure everything is loaded properly onto the transport. It’s a lot of physical work and keeping an eye on the details, which is what we do every single day of the week.
